7 Spiritual Laws of Success

The ancient sages describe the most effortless way to bond with the universe and fulfill our desires.  Their guiding motto turns out to be exquisitely simple:  Act in accord with the laws of nature.  Deepak Chopra

This book breaks the laws of nature into 7 principles, the laws are the same laws that we can follow to live a joyous and fulfilled life.    Finding this book changed my life - not the dramatic kind of change that you put the book down and say OMG!   It’s the kind of change that has to sink in, a little bit at a time and then you start to feel a little bit more at peace, life seems easier even though there are hard things in it and you realize, wow, the laws work!

TAKE THIS QUIZ. - If your answer to any of these questions is Yes,  this book is for you.

Do you base your happiness on things in the future - when I own a house, I will be happy?

Are you always thinking about how the past could be different or worrying about the future?

Do you feel like you are supporting the world vs. the world supporting you?

Are you feeling stuck or stagnant in life?

Do you feel you are not in control of your decisions?

Do you feel yourself holding on so tightly to a goal or an outcome that your body is physically tense or everything seems to be going wrong?

Do you feel the things you need to do are always hard?

Incorporating this book into your life is self-care:  giving yourself some quiet space, making it a daily habit and trusting the process.   I read one law every morning before I do my gratitude journal and meditation. I let it sink in a little tiny bit at a time, increasing my awareness and over time I get a deeper understanding,  make different choices based on it and then believe.  We are all always on our journeys and this book will forever be part of my morning routine helping me let go of where I am and become what I am meant to be.

Here is a recap of the 7 Spiritual Laws:

The Law of Pure Potentiality

Our essential state is one of pure potentiality. It is the field of all possibilities and infinite creativity.

The Law of Giving and Receiving

Everything in the universe operates through dynamic exchange.  If you want something, learn to give it.

The Law of Karma or Cause and Effect

Karma is both action and the consequence of that action.  The action of conscious choice-making allows us to sow what we want to reap.

The Law of Least Effort

Do less and accomplish more.  Least effort is expended when we are flowing with our intrinsic nature just as the grass just grows.  When you combine acceptance, responsibility and defenselessness, your life flows with effortless ease.

The Law of Intention and Desire

Inherent in every desire are the mechanics for its fulfillment.  Attention energizes and intention transforms.  Intention is the real power behind desire without attachment to the outcome.

The Law of Detachment

The way to acquire anything in the universe is to relinquish our attachment to it.  This doesn’t mean we give up the intention to create our desire.  We give up our attachment to the outcome.

The Law of Dharma or Purpose in Life

We are spiritual beings living a human life to fulfill a purpose.  When we blend our unique talents (or superpowers) with service to others, we experience our spirit,
